You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Still Waters B&B is less than five minutes from Shubie Park, a 40 acre wilderness area nestled between lakes and the historic Shubenacadie Canal. It is also an access point to extensive cycling, hiking, and walking trails as well as the Trans Canada Trail System. The fresh water lakes offer places to swim, canoe, and kayak. You can even rent what you don't have. The Waverley Road is bicycle friendly as well.
Dartmouth Crossing, one of the regions major shopping districts, is five to seven minutes away, as are shops in Cole Harbour and Mic Mac Mall. Downtown Dartmouth is a short ten minute drive away, and downtown Halifax is an enjoyable ferry ride beyond if you prefer to avoid the nearby bridges. The Halifax Stanfield International Airport is only twelve minutes north, making air travel easy. If the ocean is what you seek, several beaches are less than fifteen minutes away, as is the picturesque area known as Eastern Passage. Short road trips bring you to the classic beauty of Peggys Cove and the Annapolis Valley. Scattered everywhere are restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, parks, history, and enough scenery and beauty to satisfy all guests.
There is more than enough to keep you busy, or if you like you can simply grab a coffee and relax in our beautiful gardens. If you don't have a car, we are located on a major Metro Transit bus route ensuring ease of access to all locations.
Come, be a part of our beauty!
